What We're Learning
Welcome to our new website. This is second grade where the "love of learning" is second nature. Our class is off to a good start. We are busy learning what it takes to be a part of a productive learning community. We have created a class promise that we will try hard to uphold. We will put it up outside our door soon. We want to practice random acts of kindness on a daily basis and celebrate them as well. Our new math program is fun and rigorous.
Class News
We are continuing our Mystery Unit this week. We will have fun reading mysteries and learning how to be good detectives in observing, thinking, predicting, and investigating. We are learning how to ask questions and seek answers. This will carry over into all of our subjects. Parents may want to send us a question that we can investigate.
