Important Note:
I use homework sheets to assess where all students are. I have had many students make a 100 on all homework assignments, and then they make an extremely low score on their test. If you are going to help your child, please be sure they can do the skill independently after you help him or her!! If your child gets frustrated with an assignment, I am fine with your CHILD writing me a note! I do not penelize students for this, and I usually pull the child into a small group to review the topic.
Many of the assignments students will be receiving each week will be half sheets of paper. I am providing ALL students with a binder clip to clip onto their math homework. Students should be clipping their homework sheets here each night to keep up with them!!
