Reading/Social Studies: We have started a new novel, The Great Turkey Walk by Kathleen Karr. The students should keep up with their reading assignments as occasionally, we will have quizzes. Students should be finalizing their research (and becoming "an expert") on their 20th century project topic. The power point planning sheet will come home Monday, and Monday is not the time to begin the research. The planning sheets will be collected and checked on Wednesday. Mr. Paulson will be in our class on Friday to help with the power points. The students should have all picures and relevant information saved to their flash drives by Friday.
We have started traveling on the Oregon Trail (social studies simulation), and so far, the students have worked really well on their class assignments.
Math: We will have a quiz on algebraic reasoning skills on Tuesday. Please make sure your child is responsible in completing the weekly review.Wood - April 28-May 2
