Thasher Elementary 5th grade celebrated their graduation from the Dare
Program. The fifth grade learned about the dangers of alcohol and drug
abuse from the Dare leader, Officer Hill. Retired NFL football player
Bradford Banta was the speaker for graduation. The fifth grade several
songs about what they learned during the dare program. Each fifth grader
wrote an essay. The top four winners of the Dare essays read their essays
during graduation. Awards were given out to the top police "card
collectors". A reception followed graduation.
